The rooms
Whether you initially choose to stay 2 nights or more, we know you won't want to leave.
The bedroomsDesigned in keeping with the era, we have added modern touches such as air-conditioning to ensure your comfort during your stay, but we believe and have been told, it is the little touches that make Plynlimmon a truly special experience.
As was the style when Plynlimmon was built, the rooms of the house are of generous proportions. The master bedroom looks out onto the beautiful Blue Mountains and has a king size bed. The second bedroom looks out at the heritage cottage garden and has a queen bed. Each bedroom has a fireplace and is furnished with period wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing tables and lamps tables. If you are travelling with children, we can provide up to 2 roll out beds. |
The rooms of the houseThe formal dining room has been tastefully furnished in period Victorian style. A solid mahogany table with matching chairs is offset by a beautiful fireplace which creates a wonderful cosy atmosphere during the winter months. Pass through to the lounge room and you will find a magnificent original Carrara marble fireplace, period lamps a beautifully designed and hand crafted traditional Victorian style lounge which adds a laid back ambience to the room.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen there is a mix of old and new. The original fireplace with its wood burning cooker transports you back to yesteryear. Yet we have ensured there are still the appliances you have come to reply on ready for you as well, including stove, oven and microwave as well as plenty of utensils, pots, pans, mixing/serving bowls are available. The cottage has one bathroom with period vanity, toilet, a free-standing bathtub with shower and a hairdryer. |
